The gentleness of handmade Japanese sandals

Sandals are being made in Kizu, Ako city.Women make each one of them by hand.They cut old clothes and yukatas into strips of 4.5 centimeters x 10 - 12 meters, then combine the strips and weave them carefully into sandals which are comfortable to wear and high in breathability.It takes at least an hour to weave one sandal.
