Brewery of Ako's local sake, Otome and Chushingura

Okuto Shuzo was established in 1601.We are a brewery with history, being a puveyor to the Ako Han (feudal clan) in the Edo era.Sakoshi Hon-dori, where we are located, had flourished as a trade route to the old Sakoshi Port for merchandise including Ako salt.The place is still steeped with the calm archaic atmosphere with a number of sake breweries.
