Salt-flavored manju is Shiomido Honten (head store)'s famous traditional confectionery using Ako salt with more than 300 years of history. Through a hundred years in the business, the owner two generations back devoted himself in trying all kinds of producing methods, and perfected the salt-flavored manju into the fragrant modern product that became popular among customers all over the country.
