We are favored by customers from all around the country. We make soba using 100% buckwheat, boil just for a short time in the pot, which makes the cut ends of the noodles sharp to be covered by the dipping sauce perfectly. Our soba is handmade with carefully selected buckwheat and contains no other thickening ingredients, which brings out the special chewy feel. Stories about Ako told by Mr. Haruhiko Mizutani, master of the store and an interesting charachter, is another point of appeal !

For those who wish to savor the original flavor of soba, "mizu soba" (soba eaten only with water and salt) is recommended ! The salt we use is Ako's coarse salt and you can feel the sweetness of soba.
The set menu includes zarusoba (soba on woven bamboo tray) with tempura, and zosui (rice porridge) with Chinese chive and buckwheat seeds which Kuranosuke Oishi is said to have favored.
Soba-zushi is also an item of secret popularity !
